What a BUSY weekend!

Hope you all had a great holiday! We sure did! We spent thanksgiving at my parents house and it was a lot of fun. I didnt feel really great but I push through it to enjoy my favorite meal of the year. This year we have a lot to be thankful for good friends, wonderful families, and of course our little princess! It was nice to have a whole day devoted to remembering all the blessing we have in our lives.

Of course we did our traditional black Friday shopping where I picked up a cute little Cabbage patch doll for Averie that has dark hair and blue eyes just like her. I also got some cute gifts for my nieces.

Friday night I faced my fears and took Averie to get her ears pierced. She did so good and looks so cute with them. It took a lot for me to work up the nerve to take her but it wasnt as bad as I made it out to be.
Saturday we took family pictures with my parents and siblings, and a few of just our family. They went really well and im sure they are going to turn out really cute! I finally got a picture of Averie smiling. Its like as soon as I pull out the camera she freezes up but I managed to catch this quick one. I cant believe how fast shes growing.

Now begins the count down to Christmas! Ive got a lot of preparing to do............

Heres a Few Pics.....

oh ya..... its a girl

(2 month pics)

Its been so long i figured I better update. I ended up having a girl..... haha and my last 3 months of pregnancy were horrible. Our little Averie is worth ever minute of it though. I went into premature labor at 24 weeks and was on bed rest for the remainder of the pregnancy. I ended up having an emergency c-section 3 weeks before my due date. She was born beautiful and healthly weighing 5 pd 10 oz and measure 19 inches long. She has dark black hair with big blue eyes. She looks just like papa and he loves it. Everyday is a blessing with her. Shes growing like a weed. She can no longer wear newborn clothes and can almost sit up on her own.

I never imagined loving her so much.
